I got married at the end of September and returned from the honeymoon to multitudes of press clippings about me and my work…
OK, it’s only two, but that’s twice as many as I had a few weeks ago…

First off, Mix Magazine, one of the biggest and shiniest of all the recording magazines in the world featured 1340 Mission (home to my studio and Broken Radio, where I do most of my production) in this month’s studio spotlight column.

I also appeared in this month’s Universal Audio Webzine, discussing some of the UA mic preamps I used on theq Kronos Quartet recording from last month.

Skywalker is an amazing place to work. It really is like an technical geek person’s version of professional paradise. I’ve been up there numerous times but this was a long set of sessions and it was really intense and relaxing all at once. It was also great working with Mike Axinn and Pete Horner, both of whom have an extensive list of credits in the film business and were a joy to work with.

The film was submitted to Sundance and will hopefully be shown in this year’s festival. Good luck to Brent and Greg
